Los Glaciares NP, Argentina March 2020

The third leg of this tripod-less adventure in Patagonia, was in the Lago Argentino Department, on the west side of Santa Cruz province, in Argentina. The initial destination was Glaciar Perito Moreno, Los Glaciares National Park, west of El Calafate. The second and third outings were Sendero (path) al Fitz Roy and Loma del Pliegue Tumbado (hill of collapsed fold) trails, in the Los Glaciares National Park and Reserve system, near El Chaltén. The adventure concluded with a 'restive' drive north of El Chaltén to Lago del Desierto Provincial Reserve.
